We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and, where applicable, other data protection laws.
What we collect
Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, name and message. We use these only to reply and, if you agree, to credit you in a correction or article.
The question form. The form on our contact page runs entirely in your browser. It does not send data to our servers; it prepares text you can copy or download and send yourself.
Technical data. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and reliability. Logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.

What we don't do
We do not sell personal data, run advertising profiles or create accounts.
Retention
We keep correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it unless it relates to a published correction.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
